During one of our morning assemblies, our Year 1.2 students showcased their eTwinning project titled “See Earth like an Astronaut.” Under the guidance of their educators, Ms. Elaine Gauci and Mr. Isaac Saliba, the students enthusiastically described the various activities they undertook throughout the project. These activities were designed to provide them with a unique perspective on Earth, akin to that of an astronaut. The project partners included Portugal, Greece, North Macedonia and Malta.

eTwinning project See Earth like an Astronaut this year!
With collaborators from Greece, Portugal, and North Macedonia, Ms. Elaine is working on the eTwinning project See Earth like an Astronaut this year. The eTwinning Seminar in May 2023 in Vilnius, Lithuania, featured an overview of this project.
Students expect to gain skills in critical thinking, collaborative work, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and maths) through this project. Additionally, it seeks to foster educational creativity and enhance students’ mental and emotional health.
As astronauts observe Earth from space, students will play the role of miniature space scientists.
