Erasmus+ Pupil Mobility in Bari

Last month, a group of six students together with their teachers – Ms Jade and Ms Stephanie – embarked on a three day Erasmus+ Pupil mobility in Bari, Italy. The students were welcomed at the Istituto Margherita, and were able to interact with their fellow Italian students, and participate in both classroom and extra-curricular activities.

The school was able to include our students in activities related to Digital Literacy and Robotics – which are the cornerstone of our Erasmus+ Accreditation objectives. Other activities included Music and Drama lessons and a treasure hunt – with a tasty focaccia at the end of the activity for all the participants.

In their free time, our students were also able to visit San Nicola di Bari, who is the patron saint of the town. They also visited the cathedral and the beach.

The participants shared their educational journey with their students in Malta by holding a morning assembly via TEAMS whilst they were still in Bari. Their educators will also be sharing the experience during the College’s Council of Heads in June.

This pupil mobility was made possible thanks to the St Nicholas College, Office of the College Principal Accreditation funds, co-funded by the European Union.

STEM Day at Dingli Primary School

On March 8th, 2024, a range of STEM activities filled the day for the Primary years. Parents of Year 1, 2, and 3 students were also invited to join in these enriching experiences alongside their children. We extend our sincerest gratitude to all the educators who played a pivotal role, as well as to Ms. Melissa Bonello, our esteemed Science Head of Department. A special thank you is also extended to the parents who participated in this collaborative learning venture. Kindergarten students can look forward to their chance to engage in similar activities come May.
